When a cat or dog is at a shelter, the best among us rescue that animal and make it a pet. We all recognize there is something noble about that. Shouldn’t we be doing that for everything?
We used the word “Rescued” in our name because that’s what we do for possessions. People can and should be better stewards of our planet. Let’s not chop down another tree, let’s not fill up another landfill and let’s not pollute the air. Wouldn’t it just be better to have something rescued, something that works just as well as what you could get new?
So what defines a rescued item? It can be furniture. It can be tableware. It can be sporting goods. It can be almost anything. But before we sell it, we inspect it and if it needs work, we get at restoring it as best we can.
How we do it?
We use a converted barn and our team of dedicated craftsmen and craftswomen to rehabilitate each item and make something special. We have decades of experience in carpentry and painting, so you can be sure it will be a quality job. We will fix it if it is broke and often add an artistic touch. And best of all, it’s far cheaper than if you bought it at some department store. Of course, not everything can be made good as new, so any imperfection will be clearly detailed so you will know exactly what you are getting.
